Landscape Oil Painting with Abby Ramaker

In this workshop you will receive an introduction into oil pants: what they are, how they are used, and what a good basic color palette is. You will also learn how to paint your own landscape painting from looking at a reference.

The workshop will start off with a brief introduction on what oil paint is and how it differs from other paints.

Next, we will go over how to sketch with paint and what colors might be used next in the process and why.

Lastly, we will go through the painting stages together, answering any questions along the way until we end up with finished paintings.

The workshop will close out by briefly discussing how to clean brushes, and how to seal and frame paintings in the future.

This workshop will take place from 10am to 1:30pm on Saturday, February 8.
